Welcome to the Portal of Technology Projects!

The Portal is intended for project collaboration, document exchange, and linking to businesses, and as such provides an interface for an interactive communication. In accordance to that, the purpose is to merge the scientific trends with the technology ones, and combine that with the economic potentials and requirements. The portal is a thematic communication interface with the intention of supporting the program of Croatian Innovative Technology Development (HITRA), as a form of integration of the scientific and technology policies directed at the integration of the scientific and research potential and the business world.
The Portal is the place for the capitalisation of the knowledge by joining with the economy.
Projects: Review of the existing projects and entry of new ones.
Technologies: Existing, new and other technologies.
Collaboration: Collaboration of the academic institutions and cooperation with the businesses.
Notices: Contests, International tenders, Patents, Various.

Projects

All the existing projects are listed here. By choosing the desired project you get the basic publicly available data and you are directed to the process of identification, which will grant you the access to the project's intranet.

You have chosen a project!

This is the description composed by the head of the project. To access the project you need to pass the process of identification. Choose your username from the drop-down list and enter the password. Click on "Login". If you have mistyped your password or chosen a wrong username, click on "Cancel".

Project

Project description and users: The data on the project and the project members
Repository: the archive of the project files
Forum: the system for the discussion of the project-related and other topics
Papers: the list of the papers relating to the project
Presentations: various presentations relating to the project

Project description and users/modifying the project data

The forms for modifying the existing project data appear. The project head can assign access rights to other project members (Guest, Project member).
Project name: Enter the project title. A short title that still clearly states the project's topic is recommended.
Project folder: The folder/directory where all of the project files and documents will be stored.
Project description: Describe the project in Croatian.
Project description (English): Describe the project in English (or some other international language).
Click on "Submit"
Project members: All of the members of the project where you, too, participate are listed here. If you wish to alter the data, choose "Change Data". If you wish to remove a member from a project, choose "Remove Member". Choose "New Member" if you wish to add a new member to the project.

Change data

If you wish to change a project member's data you must fill out the displayed form.
Username: enter the member's username
Password: enter the new password
Repeat password: confirm the password
Full name: enter the first and last name of the project member
E-mail address: enter the e-mail address
Member's status: select the type of the member from the drop-down list (Guest, Project member, Project administrator)
Researcher: Check the field if the person is a researcher
Click on "Submit".

Remove Member

If you wish to remove a member from the project, choose "Yes". If you do not wish to remove a member, choose "No".

New Member

Fill out the displayed form for a new project member.
Username: enter the member's username
Password: enter the new password
Repeat password: confirm the password
Full name: enter the first and last name of the project member
E-mail address: enter the e-mail address
Member's status: select the type of the member from the drop-down list (Guest, Project member, Project administrator)
Researcher: Check the field if the person is a researcher
Click on "Submit".

Repository/Forum/Papers/Presentations

The complete file archive is visible here. You can view or delete an existing file or add a new one (depending on the access rights granted to you by the project administrator).
If you wish to delete a file, choose "Delete" to the right of the file name.
To add (upload) a new file, choose "Browse..." and select a file. The complete path to the file should be displayed in the field "File to upload". After that choose "Upload". If the file is not on the list, click the "Refresh" button in your Web browser (Internet Explorer, Opera, Netscape...), or press the F5 key.

Add Technology

Title: Enter the technology title.
Description: Describe the technology. Separate the sentences in the text with a space.
Click on "Submit".

Education/Committees

The current content of the records is visible here. You can view or delete the existing, or add a new file.
If you wish to delete a file, choose "Delete" to the right of the file name.

Enter Request

Choose institution: Choose your institution from the drop-down list. If you can't find it in the drop-down list, choose "Sign Up".
Title: Enter the title.
Description: Describe your request. Separate the sentences in the text with a space.
Click on "Submit".

Institution name: Enter the full name of your academic institution or company.
Contact person: Enter the responsible person's data
First name: Enter the first name of the responsible person.
Last name: Enter the last name of the responsible person.
Address: Enter the address of the academic institution or company.
E-Mail: Enter the e-mail address.
Phone: Enter the phone number, with the long-distance code (e.g. 01/5555555).
Fax: Enter the fax number, with the long-distance code (e.g. 01/7777777).
Click on "Submit".

Browse Requests

The institutions or companies that have already registered their need for collaboration. To see the full description of their needs you must enter your password in the field "Authorised users enter password". To get the authorisation, contact ptp@irb.hr

Business Collaboration/Project Offers
The list of the projects that need the business collaboration is displayed here. Browse through it and contact the head of the project which interests you.
